RULES

GOLDEN RULE...
Treat others with the utmost respect and understanding. If someone begins harassing you, don't be afraid to come to the staff members for help! You will be kept totally anonymous. Just capture a screenshot and send it our way. If you are the harasser, be aware that nothing will get you out of our eyes. Until you are decidedly proven falsely accused, your PMs will be disabled and you will only be able to PM staff members!

FORUM RULES...
1. Respect peoples' pronouns and gender. If someone wants to be referred to as 'they,' or less common pronouns, do it. That's why the Pronouns section is there.

2. Respect peoples' opinions, and their differences with you. Not everyone is a copy of you. People will feel differently and have different opinions. Don't start drama over trivial stuff like that!

3. This is a safe place for everyone! This includes transgenders, gay/bisexual/asexual/aromantic people, otherkin/therians/fictionkin... the whole kit-and-kaboodle. Generally this isn't a thing on roleplay forums, but I feel it needs to be said that this is a safe place to express yourself.

4. Please make sure you know English. I know not everyone speaks English, and I'm not saying English has to be your native language! But please have a basic understanding of the language, so we can all communicate fluidly.

ROLEPLAY RULES...
1. Your roleplay post must be at least 4 sentences long, not including dialogue. This is enough to give enough information for someone to reply.

2. Godmodding is not an option. Godmodding is commonly used to refer to people controlling other peoples' characters! Here's an example, with the godmodding underlined:
Swiftstream stalked around Darkfoot, snarling at the other cat. The other cat flinched, and Swiftstream lunged forward at the tabby. He sunk his claws into the cat's back, drawing blood.
And now, corrected:
Swiftstream stalked around Darkfoot, snarling at the other cat. Hoping he had intimidated the opposing cat, he lunged forward at the tabby. He attempted to sink his claws into the cat's back, hopefully drawing blood.

3. Powerplay is also not accepted. Powerplaying is making your character all-powerful, all-knowing and untouchable. This cat can kill another with a single blow, can know a cat's backstory and personality with a single glance, and cannot ever be hit adversely. This is the dreaded "takes of head, no miss no nothing" roleplayer. Please don't be that guy.

4. Wolfspeak should not be used for any reason other than being silly, outside of the canon roleplay. Don't know what Wolfspeak is? That's fine, you should probably be glad. If you'd like to know, I have a handy little diagram of the terms of Wolfspeak: [CLICK]. Basically, just use the common words for things. Not everyone knows what a metatarsal is. Your head does not consist of only a skull. You have a leg, not a pillar. It does not make you sound smart. If you're unsure if a word will make sense, try saying it out loud. If it makes you sound stupid, don't use it. [on that image, feel free to use the word 'flank.' That really is a body part. But the rest is... mmm.]

5. Nothing x-rated, and no over-the-top gore. Let's face it, things can get a little wild in the animal kingdom. However, do not roleplay sex while in this forum. If you really want to play your cats doing The Diddly, by all means, do it - SOMEWHERE ELSE! According to the Proboards TOS, no form of x-rated material can be here on my watch, INCLUDING PMS. Yeah, that's right. You have to go to a /different site altogether./ Now, that being said, don't harass someone for kittyporn. That will get you instabanned.
